The table is often the most functional and iconic piece of furniture in the room. It is difficult to imagine a homely space without it. And it is easy (at least for me) to remember the table you grew up on, played on, or ate your first Brussels sprouts from.
It's also easy to forget about the table, use the thing so routinely or be so immersed in conversation that you never notice it.

and beautiful but invisible”.
are interesting and challenging requirements to meet. Your personal use and taste, your space and its paths, and your ergonomics should be taken into account in the design.
This makes the outcome of the design process unpredictable and the furniture piece unique.
